‘End 2020 Strong’ Challenge Runner-up, Bridget, shares how she lost five dress sizes with New You Plan

Applying for her dream job which required a certain BMI size, Bridget set herself a weight loss goal, started the New You Plan on 24 th  April 2020 and has since lost an amazing five dress sizes.  Bridget has gone from a women’s size 22/20 to a 12 since starting the plan. She was crowned runner-up in the End 2020 Strong Challenge and won £250 in cash and £125 New You credit.  Here’s what she had to say about her motivation and journey so far… What was your motivation to begin and stick to the plan? I applied for my dream job to be a train driver in Ireland. At the time I had applied, I didn’t realise that I needed to be a BMI of 24. You have to be a healthy weight and healthy mind to be a train driver because you are responsible for your passengers. Approaching his 40 th  birthday, Mark set himself a weight loss goal, started the New You Plan on 4 th  March and has since lost more than half his body weight with an amazing 11 stone and 2lb gone.  Mark has gone from a men’s 52-inch waist to a size 28 in just over nine months. Has your health improved? Massively. It was a struggle to get out of bed and get up the stairs and walking. I didn’t do anything. I was literally just eating and not moving. Before starting on the New You Plan, John could hardly walk unaided and suffered from a lot of pain as well as angina attacks and diabetes issues.   Since starting on the diet, he has lost an amazing seven stone and can now walk without a stick, has not suffered from an angina attack and no longer takes diabetes medication or painkillers.  He’s gone from a 54 waist to a 36 and feels like a new man. John was crowned winner of the End 2020 Strong Challenge and won £1,000 in cash!
